What You'll Be Doing

• Performing thorough patient assessments and ordering necessary diagnostic tests to formulate tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions either independently or in collaboration with physicians, depending on your credentials
• Empowering patients and their families through education on prevention strategies, wellness practices, and effective disease management

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in Idaho
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or a commitment to obtain these within 90 days)
