Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW at Inner Horizon Counseling, your role encompasses a variety of responsibilities designed to enhance the well-being of your clients. Specific tasks include:

• Implementing therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address specific mental health issues, thereby fostering resilience and recovery.

• Maintaining meticulous clinical documentation and records, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

• Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care, ensuring all aspects of a client’s well-being are addressed.

• Participating in regular case meetings and peer consultations to enhance clinical skills and continuously improve care standards.

• Educating patients and their families on mental health conditions and available resources, empowering them to take charge of their treatment and recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will include individuals facing a variety of mental health concerns, particularly those in the detoxification process. This role is integral in guiding them through emotional and psychological challenges, promoting stability and health during a critical time in their recovery journey. Your compassionate approach will help foster trust and openness in these often vulnerable clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, demonstrating your advanced knowledge and training in the field.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of New York, showcasing your professional qualifications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
