A well-established property management firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Community Manager to oversee operations at a mid-sized affordable housing community in Silver Spring, MD. This is a high-impact leadership role for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands affordable housing compliance, and is passionate about driving performance, team engagement, and resident satisfaction.Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations and overall community performanceEnsure compliance with HUD, Project-Based Section 8, and LIHTC (Tax Credit) regulationsManage budgets, financial reporting, and occupancy/delinquency goalsLead, train, and develop on-site team membersDrive leasing and marketing strategiesMaintain property standards and oversee maintenance operationsDeliver excellent customer service and manage resident relationsRequirements:3–5+ years of property management experience3–5+ years in affordable housing (HUD/Project-Based Section 8 required)LIHTC (Tax Credit) experience requiredStrong compliance backgroundProven leadership and financial management skillsProficiency in Yardi, Excel, and Microsoft OfficeBilingual (preferred)What’s Offered:Competitive salary ($85,000)Comprehensive benefits package401(k)Paid time offHousing discountIf you are a results-driven leader with a strong affordable housing background and are looking to make a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply.Apply here: Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr The Donaldson Group
