Schedule

This position requires night shifts on a 12-hour rotation with typical hours of 3 PM - 3 AM or 7 PM - 7 AM. The contract entails working 36 hours per week, including one weekend shift per week or two shifts every other weekend, alongside at least one holiday per contract period.

Join a well-established, experienced team in a high-acuity Emergency Department designed for optimal patient care. This facility boasts 80 treatment spaces and is the area's first ACEP-accredited geriatric Emergency Department, emphasizing specialized geriatric emergency care. Collaborate in a supportive environment with a focus on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assessing and providing care for patients in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administering medications and managing treatments according to protocols.
• Utilizing EPIC charting for accurate and timely documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an emergency department setting.
• Active New York RN license.
• Current certifications in NIH and AHA BLS.
• 2 years of U.S. work history required for non-U.S. candidates.
