Human Resources Manager

Tiger is partnered with a U.S based food distributer that is looking for a Human Resources Director. They are looking for a well-rounded Human Resources professional that enjoys a fast paced environment. Previous experience in a similar industry is imperative. This position is five days a week in office, and they are in the Bronx, New York. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals and operational requirements. Partner with executive leadership to support workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives. Provide guidance and recommendations on employee relations, talent management, compensation, and workforce optimization. Lead recruitment efforts for production. Oversee onboarding programs to ensure successful employee integration and retention. Investigate employee concerns, complaints, and workplace conflicts, ensuring fair and consistent resolution. Advise managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and corrective action processes. Develop employee engagement and retention programs to reduce turnover and improve workforce stability. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Maintain compliance with labor standards, wage and hour laws, immigration requirements, and equal employment opportunity regulations. Manage HR policies, procedures, and handbooks. Oversee compensation structures, salary administration, and incentive programs. Manage employee benefits programs and vendor relationships. Full oversight of benefits and payroll. Partner with operations and safety teams to promote a strong safety culture. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in human resources or business administration Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive human resources experience. Minimum of 5 years in a senior HR leadership role. Experience in food manufacturing, meat processing, perishable goods, distribution, or manufacturing environments strongly preferred. Experience managing multi-site operations and large hourly workforces preferred. SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, or PHR certification preferred. Proficiency with HRIS systems, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
