Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial evaluations and comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their mental health needs and diagnoses.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions via telehealth to monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and provide ongoing support.

• Collaborate closely with social and medical agencies, healthcare providers, and community organizations to connect patients with essential services.

• Stay current with best practices in mental health by completing continuing education courses and maintaining the National Certified Counselor certification.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in the state of Florida.

• Minimum of three years of experience in providing counseling to trauma patients.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with team members.
