Outbound Sales Consultant
State Farm Agency Team Member
Schedule: Full-time

As a local State Farm agency, we are looking for an energetic, goal-driven, and sales-minded individual to join our team as an Outbound Sales Consultant . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, making outbound calls, identifying customer needs, and helping customers choose insurance products that protect what matters most.

You will gain hands-on experience in agency growth, customer acquisition, consultative selling, and daily agency operations while learning what it takes to run a successful insurance business.

Responsibilities
As an Outbound Sales Consultant, you will:

• Make outbound calls to prospective customers, warm leads, internet leads, and existing customers.
• Ask discovery questions to understand customer needs and identify coverage opportunities.
• Provide information on available insurance products, including auto, home, life, health, and other State Farm products.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers across multiple product lines.
• Follow up consistently with leads and customers to help move conversations forward.
• Support agency growth through cross-selling, account rounding, and customer retention efforts.
• Participate in marketing and outreach efforts to increase awareness within the community.
• Maintain accurate customer records, notes, follow-up activity, and documentation.
• Work alongside the agency team to provide a consistent and professional customer experience.
• Support daily office operations as needed, including scheduling, documentation, and service-related follow-up.

Qualifications

• Sales experience preferred, including inside sales, outside sales, retail sales, telemarketing, or customer-facing sales.
• A successful track record of meeting sales goals or quotas is preferred.
• Ability to effectively relate to customers and build trust.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Property & Casualty license preferred or required.
• Life & Health license preferred or required.
• Must be willing to obtain required insurance licenses if not already licensed.

Compensation
$32,000 - $70,000 per year, including base salary plus commission and bonus opportunities.
