Staffing includes a charge nurse, patient care technicians, and registered nurses. Patient ratios typically of 1:4, sometimes 1:5. Equipment includes walkers, pumps, chest tubes, and various feeding tubes. Main electronic medical record system is Meditech. Seeking candidates with experience in time management and critical thinking. Preferred experience includes progressive care unit and tracheostomy knowledge. Typical procedures include airway management, bowel surgeries, and various pulmonary interventions. Team players with a positive attitude and adaptability are the best fit. Focus on communication with patients and adherence to infection prevention protocols. Expectations for compliance in documentation and patient care activities. Rotating weekends are required, with no on-call duty.
