Number of Beds: 29 private rooms. Number of Staff: 18 current staff. Type of staff includes: RT, RN, CN, throughput manager, case manager, rehab, director/manager, ancillary. Day Shift: 1 CN, 2 PCT, 1 UC, 7 RNs. Night Shift: 1 CN, 2 PCT, 7 RNs. Patient Ratios: Either 1:4 or 1:5. Type of equipment includes: telemetry monitoring, continuous pulse ox. EMR: Meditech. Typical hiring profile: Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: ACLS, BLS, telemetry experience. Preferred or nice to have: NIH Stroke Prepared, PALS, ICU, Tele, PCU experience. Typical procedures performed on unit: Blood transfusions, IV starts, midline/central line removals, high fall risk patient populations, respiratory and cardiac assessments. Best personality fit: Team player, engaged, self-motivator. Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS. Floating Areas: Med surg, Tele, PCU, ED. Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Navy Blue.
