Accounting Clerk - Manufacturing

Location: Fort Myers, FL
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Pay: $20.00/hour

Position Summary

A well-established manufacturing company in Fort Myers is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk with strong administrative support skills. This role will assist with a wide range of accounting functions while also supporting general office operations in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to:

Invoicing and payment processing
Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) support
Payroll assistance and credit card payment processing
Processing credit card transactions and customer payments
Filing, scanning, and document organization
Administrative office support (phones, emails, scheduling, etc.)
Software utilization for daily accounting functions
Maintaining digital and paper records
Additional accounting and office duties as assigned

Candidate Requirements

Recent experience using accounting software ( QuickBooks, Epicor, or similar )
Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing responsibilities
Comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment
Strong administrative and organizational skills
Available to work 5 days a week, 8 AM - 5 PM
Professional communication and ability to support accounting + office functions

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required
Previous experience in manufacturing, accounting, or office administration
