Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments with clients to identify mental health concerns and develop detailed therapeutic plans tailored to individual needs.

• Regularly evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring optimal outcomes.

• Offer resources and referrals to other healthcare providers when needed, including collaborating with psychiatrists for medication management.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record system to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, and adults. Clients may present with a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Your ability to assess and address these varying needs with cultural competence is essential in fostering effective therapeutic alliances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a valid and current license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A minimum of four years of clinical experience providing mental health counseling in an outpatient setting.

• Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Demonstrable experience conducting both individual and group therapy, employing inclusive and culturally responsive practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
