Work Environment

The physical therapist will work onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Orlando, where you will engage with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. Working 40 hours per week with variable weekends, this role provides a collaborative atmosphere where teamwork is essential to achieving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Full-Time Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations to determine the functional limitations of each patient and establishing individualized treatment plans aimed at rehabilitation and recovery.
• Providing consultations to healthcare providers about the continuum of care necessary for each patient.
• Maintaining high standards of customer service while skillfully interacting with patients of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
• Implementing treatment plans, continually reassessing patient progress, and adjusting protocols as needed to meet individual goals.
• Documenting all treatment provided, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
• Regularly collaborating with the interdisciplinary treatment team, family members, and referral sources to coordinate optimal patient care.
• Participating in leadership activities, including community outreach, marketing, and program development to enhance the rehabilitation services offered.
• Supervising assigned support staff, including physical therapy assistants and students to ensure efficient operation within the department.
• Engaging in continuing education and professional development to maintain and enhance your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The physical therapist will primarily work with a diverse patient population, ranging from post-operative orthopedic patients to those with chronic musculoskeletal conditions, neurological disorders, and geriatric challenges. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
