Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients experiencing functional challenges.
• Provide expert consultations to healthcare providers regarding patient needs and progress throughout their continuum of care.
• Ensure adherence to customer service standards while engaging with patients from diverse backgrounds, thereby building trust and rapport.
• Implement treatment plans that focus on patient education, optimization of functionality, and pain management.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress meticulously to ensure compliance with regulations and professional standards.
• Communicate regularly with the interdisciplinary treatment team, including physicians and support staff, to provide updated patient status reports.
• Participate in community outreach program initiatives, quality improvement (CQI) activities, and marketing efforts that enhance patient care and awareness.
• Engage in professional development opportunities, including attending staff meetings, workshops, and continuing education programs.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, ensuring they understand treatment protocols and organizational expectations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. Our focus is on tailoring therapy to meet the unique needs of each patient, promoting their recovery and enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field is required.
• Must hold a valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice professionally in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and word processing software.
