We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chief of Hematology/Oncology for a full-time role within our healthcare system. Our organization delivers outstanding care across three locations:

• Main Medical Center: This primary facility provides hospital-based consulting services (without a dedicated inpatient hematology-oncology unit) and offers comprehensive outpatient clinics, including a chemotherapy infusion suite.
• Healthcare Centers in Kernersville and Charlotte, NC: Both centers are fully equipped to administer chemotherapy infusions.

Work Schedule

• Standard Hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Flexible Options: Consideration for flexible or compressed work schedules is available.
• On-Call Duties: Approximately 1 in 6 for phone coverage.

Academic Partnership

• Affiliation: Wake Forest University School of Medicine

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification: Board-certified in hematology-oncology by ABIM.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in clinical practice, overseeing clinical trials, and mentoring trainees.

Essential Requirements

• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen; non-citizens may be considered only if qualified citizens are unavailable.
• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent in allopathic or osteopathic medicine.
• Licensure: Must hold an unrestricted medical license in a U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
• Residency: Completion of an accredited residency program in a core specialty is required.
• Board Certification: Must be board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology Oncology.
