Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations, including reviewing patient histories and performing orthopedic assessments, to develop and document patient-centered treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation outcomes and treatment strategies with patients and their families, actively involving them in the goal-setting process to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Implement targeted treatment protocols tailored to each patient's unique needs and capabilities, demonstrating proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, consulting with other healthcare providers when necessary and documenting any changes in patients' conditions, advocating for timely adjustments to care plans.
• Handle discharge planning effectively, ensuring a seamless transition from rehabilitation to home or the next phase of care, while maintaining accurate documentation of each patient's progress.
• Manage time efficiently to meet productivity standards, leading team marketing events to build community awareness of our services.
• Contribute positively to departmental objectives by actively participating in meetings and initiatives aimed at improving patient care and operational efficiency.
• Pursue continuing education opportunities and mentorship roles for new staff and interns, enhancing both professional growth and team competencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our orthopedic physical therapist will work primarily with a diverse patient population, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid New Jersey license as a Physical Therapist is required.

• Strong competence in developing and implementing exercise protocols in alignment with patient needs.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR software is preferred for efficient documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and professional credentials.
