Overview The primary responsibility of a legal intake specialist is to set up and manage the processes of onboarding new and prospective clients who are a good fit for our law firm. Some critical legal intake specialist job duties are: Key Responsibilities Interviewing prospective clients by phone and email to learn more about the Firm and familiarize them with their cases. Conducting primary research to investigate whether prospective clients' claims have merit. Evaluating prospective clients' claims to determine whether they're in line with the areas of practice and experience of the Firm. Signing up new clients, gaining a client's business. Scheduling initial consultation appointments with attorneys for promising potential candidates. Enter client’s information for incoming and outgoing calls. Key Traits Bilingual: Spanish. Excellent telephone speaking voice, direct, clear, and concise. Must be empathetic – building trust through demonstrating a genuine understanding of the customer’s situation. Strong negotiation and people skills, demonstrating consistent and effective communication skills. Sales experience is a strong plus. Candidates must be driven, resilient, and persistent. Must possess a solid hunger to succeed and grow. Enjoy working in a team environment. A natural salesperson, someone who can get clients to sign with us and who can handle all aspects of personal injury claims. Enjoys phone interactions. Someone fearless in going above and beyond for the client and the Firm will work flawlessly with our team of motivated and successful specialists and strong paralegal and administrative professionals. Highly Competitive Pay with Incentives Compensation Range: $55,000 — $60,000 USD Compensation The base salary or hourly range for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior relevant experience, business needs and market factors. Additionally, salary wages are only part of the total compensation package.
