Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to patient consults and admissions, performing initial assessments and writing medical notes as needed.
• Manage the patient care process efficiently by entering admission, pre-and post-operative, and consultation orders in a timely manner.
• Support surgical teams by preparing patients for procedures and performing necessary pre-operative assessments.
• Maintain open and effective communication with patients and their families, providing updates on patient progress and treatment plans.
• Participate in provider rounds and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Demonstrate adaptability by being open to flexible shift assignments and on-call responsibilities as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality while navigating billing processes.
• Uphold institutional policies and departmental guidelines while embodying the CARES values of our organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population consists of diverse individuals seeking urgent care for a variety of non-life-threatening conditions ranging from acute illnesses, minor injuries, to preventive care services. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play an essential role in addressing the unique needs of each patient while providing education on health management to promote long-term wellness.

Qualifications

• ABachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• A Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) is strongly preferred.
• Active Georgia state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NPA or equivalent) is required.
• A DEA license and NPI number are required prior to employment.
• Solid knowledge of acute care patient standard practices.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, demonstrating the ability to engage effectively with patients and medical teams.
• Ability to establish positive working relationships in an interdisciplinary healthcare environment.
• A strong commitment to cultural competency and respect for diverse backgrounds.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing demands of a busy urgent care clinic.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as an NP in an urgent care or emergency care setting.
• Experience in a high-volume outpatient clinic is desirable.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
• Familiarity with current treatment methods and practices relevant to urgent care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 140,000 – 180,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
