Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and compile detailed medical histories of patients presenting with various skin conditions.
• Assist the supervising dermatologist in diagnosing and treating a wide array of dermatological issues, from acne to skin cancers.
• Carry out minor surgical procedures, which may include suturing, biopsies, and cryotherapy, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients about skincare routines, preventive strategies against skin diseases, and self-examination techniques.
• Prescribe appropriate medications for dermatological treatments as per established guidelines and protocols.
• Order and accurately interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures to support clinical decision-making.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Radiance Skin Dermatology, we cater to a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to geriatric dermatology. Qualifications

• Current and active Physician Assistant certification from a recognized accrediting body.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a medical setting, preferably within the dermatology specialty.
• Strong proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems for documentation and patient management; at least two years of experience is required.
• Ability to successfully complete a comprehensive training program with the supervising dermatologist over a 4-day training period (Monday to Thursday, 9 am to 4 pm).
• Capacity to provide medical dermatology services for patients of varying ages, including children, adolescents, and adults.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience specifically in dermatology is strongly preferred.
• Experience in performing minor surgical procedures related to skin health would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $150,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, our benefits package includes:
