Accounting Manager Salary: $110,000-$130,000 Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite in Newark, NJ) Ready to take ownership of accounting operations while helping drive finance technology and process improvements? Why This Opportunity Stands Out Leadership role with oversight of AP/AR and core accounting functions High-impact position supporting finance transformation and automation initiatives Lead NetSuite enhancements, integrations, and user adoption efforts Manage complex nonprofit accounting, including grants, contributions, and deferred revenue Partner with senior leadership on cash management, reporting, and decision support Collaborative, mission-focused culture with strong growth and visibility Key Responsibilities of Accounting Manager Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP and AR functions Manage month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and fixed assets Lead revenue recognition for grants, contributions, pledges, and deferred revenue Support cash forecasting and liquidity planning Drive process improvements, automation projects, and reporting enhancements Partner with IT and external vendors on NetSuite optimization and system integrations Qualifications of Accounting Manager Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant nonprofit accounting exposure Strong NetSuite experience required Experience with accounting systems integrations and process improvement initiatives Prior leadership or supervision of AP/AR functions preferred Strong understanding of GAAP and nonprofit revenue recognition principles Ideal for an Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant looking to leverage both accounting expertise and technology skills in a highly visible, mission-driven environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr Creative Financial Staffing, LLC
