What you will do: A day in the life of an Health Service Administrator (HSA) at Alachua Academy is rarely the same, HARD WORK, EXCITING, IMPACTFUL, and very REWARDING. As an HSA at Alachua Academy, you will be primarily responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the medical department, ensuring adherence to the healthcare guidelines, and implementing safety standards for our youth. This is a 100% onsite position. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Manage student healthcare according to their needs

• Assist medical, psychiatric, and dental providers on-site and/or via telehealth

• Maintain resident medical files

• Enforce facility rules, policies, and routines

• Supervise 1-2 registered nurses at the Academy

Education

Required

• Bachelors or better in Nursing

• High School or better

Preferred

• Technical/other training or better in Health Services Administration

Licenses & Certifications

Required

• Registered Nurse

Preferred

• Nurse Practitioner

Experience

Preferred

• Experience as a Registered Nurse in a professional setting.

• 1-3 year: Experience working in a residential setting.

• 1-3 year: Experience working with low to moderate risk juveniles.
