Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Travel) in Reedley, California. This travel assignment starts on 09/21/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range is $1,978-$2,132 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts. Work setting is a Critical Access Hospital.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, coordinated nursing care for ED patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Triage, assess, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and respond to emergent events with CPR/BLS as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, coordinate care across disciplines, and provide patient and family education.
- Document care in the medical record (EPIC), ensure accuracy, and participate in discharge planning for continuity of care.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of assigned nursing staff and delegate tasks as appropriate.
- Promote a safe, healing environment and participate in ongoing quality improvement activities as needed.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California) required.
- CPR/BLS certification required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy also required.
- ACLS (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) required.
- PALS (AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS) required.
- EPIC experience required.
- Minimum of two years of recent acute care nursing experience.
- BSN degree preferred; related acute care experience may be considered in lieu of BSN where appropriate.
- Ability to work the night shift and adapt to a fast-paced ED environment.
