Job Details Entity: MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) Worker Type: Employee Worker Sub-Type: Regular Cost Center: CC004513 MCP - Revenue Cycle Pay Rate Type: Hourly Pay Grade: Health-23 Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Responsibilities Coordinate daily payment processing activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Monitor payment queues and prioritize work to meet departmental deadlines. Research and resolve payment discrepancies, unapplied payments, and outstanding balances. Review payment reports and identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement. Collaborate with finance, revenue cycle, and operational teams to ensure proper payment posting and reconciliation. Maintain accurate records and documentation of payment activities. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and fiscal year-end payment activities. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for payment processes. Provide training, guidance, and support to team members on payment-related processes. Prepare reports and present payment performance metrics to leadership. Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
