OVERVIEW TheAccountExecutiveworkscloselywiththeseniorteam todrivemediarelationsandinfluencer outreachforthedivision’skeyaccounts.Theidealcandidatepossessesakeenunderstandingofthemedialandscapealongsideastrongtrackrecordofsecuringtop‑tierplacements.Applicantsmusthaveexperiencefosteringrelationshipswithinfluencersandcontributingtocreativebrainstormsandclientstrategies. Theabilitytocommunicateeffectivelywithstaff,clients,andexternalcontactsinafast‑paced,high‑pressureenvironmentiscrucial.Thisrolerequiresaprofessionalwhoisflexible,proactive,resourceful,andefficientwhilemanagingcompetingpriorities.Additionally,candidatesmustholdagenuineinterestintheCPG,influencer,andentertainmentindustriesinwhichthispositionoperates. RESPONSIBILITIES Partnerwithseniorexecutivestoexecutestrategiccommunicationscampaigns,specializinginmediarelations,influencermarketing,andproductplacement. Buildandmaintainanetworkofrelationshipswithlong‑lead,short‑lead,anddigitaleditors. Manageandmentorjuniorstaff;minimumoftwoyearsexperienceinasupervisoryrole. Prioragencyexperienceisrequired. Holda4‑yearcollegedegree. Demonstratestrongcommandofsocialmediaplatformsandtheevolvinginfluencerlandscape. Participateinprofessionaldevelopmentopportunities,includingnetworkingwithPRprofessionalsandmedia. Attendindustrynetworkingeventsandsharereportsonmedianews,digitaladvances,andpublications(trade&consumer). Contributeinnovativeandcreativeideastocompanybrainstorms. Buildrelationshipswithhairandmakeupexpertsasneeded. SKILLS 3–4yearsofPRexperience,specificallywithintheCPGandconsumercategories. Assign,supervise,andmanagetheactivitiesofanAccountCoordinator. Executemediarelationsandstrategiccommunicationsplansacrossclientswithanemphasisonproductplacement. Lead,encourage,mentor,anddevelopjuniorstaffmembersunderthedirectionofasenioraccountexecutive. Demonstrateeffectiveorganizationalandprojectmanagementskills. Workwellunderpressurewithtightdeadlines. Participateinbrainstormingsessionsandcontributecreativeideas. Exhibitexcellentverbal,written,presentation,organization,andfollow‑upskills. Writeinteresting,creative,andeffectivepressreleases,mediaalerts,andpressmaterials. Createandmaintainmediapitchgridsforthedivision. Pitchproductandbrandprofileseffectively. Possessknowledgeoftheconsumerindustryandpopularculture. Coordinateandexecuteclientevents.
