Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will have the opportunity to guide young adults (ages 18-30) through their mental health journeys by performing the following core responsibilities:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead engaging group sessions where clients can share experiences, foster connection, and learn coping strategies from one another.

• Individual Counseling: Conduct personalized therapy sessions aimed at exploring each client's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, assisting them in developing actionable coping mechanisms.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans that align with their unique needs, preferences, and goals.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools to regularly check in on client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed based on feedback and performance.

• Team Coordination: Work in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care, sharing insights and strategies in case consultations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults in an outpatient setting, particularly those participating in Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) services. This age group often faces distinct mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma and identity issues. Your role will be crucial in guiding this demographic towards recovery and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Active and valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of New Jersey.

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; a Master's Degree in Counseling or a related area is preferred.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Our organization offers a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 - 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
