What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process within regulatory standards
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members and families
- Use clinical data to evaluate and optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and accreditation standards
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
- Support the unit's strategic goals and foster a positive, caring environment
What You Need
- Required:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
- Proficiency with healthcare computer systems and documentation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Preferred:
- Certification in a clinical specialty area
