Manager, Data Center Development & Strategic Partnerships The Manager, Data Center Development & Strategic Partnerships will support the evaluation, development, and commercialization of data center opportunities across North America. This role will work at the intersection of site selection, utility coordination, energy infrastructure, permitting, and strategic partnerships. Data Center Development Evaluate and advance data center development opportunities across multiple U.S. markets. Lead or support site selection activities, including assessment of power availability, utility infrastructure, fiber connectivity, water access, zoning, and land-use considerations. Coordinate development activities through key milestones, including permitting, diligence, utility engagement, and site control. Support large-load and utility application processes. Evaluate infrastructure readiness, transmission constraints, and grid access requirements. Site Selection & Real Estate Review potential development sites and conduct due diligence. Support land acquisition efforts, including leases, easements, purchase agreements, title review, and survey evaluation. Assess environmental, regulatory, permitting, and community-related risks. Coordinate with internal real estate teams and external consultants. Utility & Infrastructure Strategy Work closely with utilities, transmission providers, consultants, and interconnection teams. Evaluate utility service options, rate structures, infrastructure requirements, and power delivery strategies. Support renewable energy procurement and co-location opportunities. Track regulatory and market developments impacting large-load infrastructure projects. Strategic Partnerships & Commercial Development Support partnerships with developers, utilities, infrastructure providers, landowners, and other stakeholders. Participate in project acquisition and development partnership evaluations. Develop presentations, investment recommendations, and commercial materials for leadership and external partners. Assist with M&A diligence activities and transaction support. Cross-Functional Leadership Coordinate project activities across development, engineering, permitting, legal, finance, power markets, and construction teams. Manage consultant workstreams and external stakeholders. Present project updates and recommendations to internal leadership. The Successful Applicant A successful Manager, Data Center Development & Strategic Partnerships should have: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Planning, Real Estate, Business, Finance, Environmental Studies, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Data center development Renewable energy development Infrastructure development Real estate development Utility or transmission development Experience supporting site selection, permitting, land use, infrastructure planning, or project development activities. Strong project management and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
