This role is entirely remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your own home, while enjoying flexibility in your work schedule. As a Mental Health Counselor with Thrive Space Counseling, you will utilize advanced Telehealth technology to connect with clients, facilitating one-on-one therapy sessions as well as support groups. You will have the opportunity to leverage electronic medical records systems to track client progress and streamline care while receiving ongoing support from our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial intake assessments to identify client needs, strengths, and emotional challenges, forming the foundation of tailored treatment plans.

• Offer one-on-one and group therapy sessions that focus on a variety of concerns, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma recovery, and relationship issues.

• Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers, ensuring comprehensive care and communication for each patient’s unique circumstances.

• Engage in continuous education and training opportunities to stay informed about the latest best practices and therapeutic techniques in the mental health field.

• Contribute to the development of new service delivery models and program enhancements, impacting overall operation efficiency and client satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse array of clients from various backgrounds and experiences. Your focus will include helping individuals manage their mental health challenges and empowering them to develop coping strategies that lead to improved quality of life. The diverse client demographic in Modesto and surrounding areas provides a rich tapestry of experiences, allowing you to tailor your therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active and valid license to practice as a LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of three years of direct experience working with individuals facing emotional and mental health challenges.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport and trust with clients.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is preferred, supporting efficient and organized client management.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, additional experience in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, or specific therapeutic modalities (such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or Dialectical Behavior Therapy) will enhance your qualifications for this position. Knowledge of community resources and referral networks will also be an asset in helping clients access the support they need.
