Work Environment\n

This position is designed for a remote work setting, encouraging flexible work-life balance while providing essential services to our clients. You will be part of an innovative outpatient team, leveraging technology to connect with clients and provide therapeutic support from the comfort of your own space. Scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing you to maintain a structured routine.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ specific needs, preferences, and goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress.

• Provide education and support for clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
\n
• Regularly monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to integrate care and address comprehensive client needs.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to enhance treatment methodologies.

• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in maintaining client records and confidentiality.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

• Advocate for client needs within the mental healthcare system and work towards reducing the stigma associated with mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist in this role will primarily work with adults experiencing mood disorders, including individuals who may be homeless, refugees, or victims of domestic violence. The clinic's mission focuses on comprehensively supporting these vulnerable populations and ensuring they have access to essential mental health services. By providing compassionate therapy, you will play an integral role in assisting clients on their journey to recovery.

Qualifications\n
