Security Guard – Transitional Living Center (San Jose)
Company: Code 4 Private Security
Location: San Jose, CA
Status: FLEX GUARD
Pay: $21.00 per hour
We’re looking for sharp, reliable, and professional security officers to join our team at a transitional living facility in San Jose. Military veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.
Requirements:
- Valid BSIS Guard Card
- Power to Arrest and all current BSIS training certificates
- Strong presence, alertness, and communication skills
- Military background preferred (not required)
- Must be punctual and detail-oriented
Responsibilities Include but not limited:
- Conducting full rounds of the property every 30 minutes to 1 hour
- Completing detailed Daily Activity Reports (DARs)
- Screening all residents before entry
- Conducting bag checks as needed
- Assisting staff with room checks when necessary
- Maintaining safety, order, and professionalism at all times
- Monitor and secure the premises of the Transitional Living Center to ensure the safety of residents and staff.
- Manage conflicts and de-escalate situations through effective communication and conflict management techniques.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify and address potential security threats.
- Administer first aid and CPR as needed, maintaining readiness for emergency situations.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and uphold all security protocols and regulations.
