Our client, a leading nonprofit health insurance organization serving individuals, families, employers, and government-sponsored healthcare programs, is seeking a Provider Demographic Coordinator to support the accuracy and maintenance of provider data across multiple systems.

The Provider Demographic Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely maintenance of provider demographic information within multiple internal databases. This position plays a critical role in supporting claims processing, provider network management, regulatory reporting, and overall data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter, load, and maintain provider demographic information across multiple databases and systems.
• Review and process new provider demographic requests and updates while ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Research, identify, and resolve data discrepancies and system errors.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure provider information is accurately reflected across downstream systems and business processes.
• Understand and communicate the operational impact of demographic data changes on members, providers, employer groups, brokers, and regulatory reporting.
• Follow established policies, procedures, and quality standards while meeting productivity expectations.
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Assist with documentation updates, process improvements, and training initiatives as experience is gained.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling provider and organizational data.

Qualifications

Required

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of administrative, data entry, operations, or related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and other business software.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to follow complex processes, procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot data issues.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting productivity, quality, and turnaround-time standards.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Professional, customer-focused, and courteous approach when working with internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn in a changing operational environment.

Preferred

• Experience working in healthcare, health insurance, provider services, credentialing, network operations, or provider data management.
• Experience maintaining provider demographic records or other highly detailed data systems.
• Familiarity with provider databases and healthcare information systems.
• Experience supporting process improvements, documentation updates, or employee training initiatives.
• Knowledge of provider enrollment, claims processing, or healthcare network operations.
