Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify the specific nature and severity of their mental health concerns, utilizing evidence-based assessment tools and techniques.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on personal assessments, preferences, and the latest therapeutic methodologies, ensuring that each client receives care tailored to their unique needs.

• Engage in direct counseling sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness interventions to help clients process their emotions and develop coping strategies.

• Stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health counseling, regularly participating in continuous education and professional development opportunities.

• Coordinate care by referring clients to additional healthcare providers, community resources, or support groups when necessary to provide comprehensive treatment and support.

• Maintain a warm, empathetic, and professional demeanor throughout all counseling sessions, building rapport and trust with clients to encourage open communication.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and adjustment disorders. You will provide counseling across different age groups, including adolescents, adults, and families, ensuring that services are culturally competent and sensitive to each client's background and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State, in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively facilitate counseling sessions and document patient records.

• A demonstrated ability to create a safe and welcoming environment for clients to discuss their concerns openly.

• Commitment to providing individualized, client-centered care and a willingness to adapt techniques as needed based on client responses and progress.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, preferably in a telehealth or remote setting.

• Experience with specific populations or issues, such as family therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use disorders, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
