Billing Coordinator

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Billing Coordinator will obtain, analyze, and review patient information for billing and collection of radiology services, ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement while managing communications with insurance carriers and patients. Key responsibilities Review and verify accuracy of ICD-10 and CPT coding, patient demographics, and financial information for billing File insurance claims promptly and follow up with payers to ensure timely payment on patient accounts Assist in process improvement projects and train new coding associates while providing mentorship to existing staff Required qualifications High School diploma or equivalent 3 years' experience in a medical collection department Knowledge of Workers Compensation, HMO's, PPO's, and other third-party payors 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office Suite Strong verbal and written communication skills
