Job Overview ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Geneva, New York. Job Details Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/03/2026 Duration: 27 weeks Hours per week: 36 Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Contract: 26‑Week Schedule includes 3x12 hour shifts day and night rotations, weekend and holiday availability, and possible on‑call shifts. Responsibilities Utilize nursing knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional patient care. Conduct thorough assessments of patient and family needs using active listening and analytical skills. Create individualized and culturally relevant care plans in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare team. Monitor patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed based on patient responses. Promote patient rights, safety, and health, while fostering mutual trust within the healthcare team. Educate patients and families on self‑care and lifestyle changes necessary for health and healing post‑discharge. Document educational efforts and assess patient/family understanding and retention of information. Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance nursing practice and care delivery. Build caring and trusting relationships with patients and families. Administer medications and perform other clinical interventions as required. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure NYS RN Licensure. Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or RQI only). NIHSS certification.
