We’re looking for a passionate, creative, and highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our Clinical Team. This is an opportunity to do more than develop treatment plans—you’ll help shape meaningful outcomes for individuals with autism and related developmental disabilities while empowering the people who support them every day. As a BCBA, you’ll bring clinical expertise directly into residential, day, community, and other service settings. You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, coach and mentor behavioral professionals, support caregivers and staff, and use data-driven strategies to create programs that make a real difference. What You’ll Do You’ll oversee a dynamic caseload and flex your schedule to meet the needs of the individuals and teams you serve. Your work will include: Conducting comprehensive skill acquisition assessments, including VB-MAPP, FISH, Essential for Living, Preference Assessments, and AFLS . Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and Functional Analyses for challenging behavior. Developing individualized skill acquisition programs, behavior strategies, and behavior support plans. Designing and implementing function-based interventions and data collection systems. Reviewing data and modifying treatment plans to ensure continued progress. Supporting Natural Environment Training and developing supported employment programming when appropriate. Training caregivers, direct support professionals, BCaBAs, RBTs, and other stakeholders in effective behavior support strategies. Observing program implementation and providing hands‑on coaching and feedback. Conducting intake assessments for prospective clients. Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate and continuously improve services. Providing face‑to‑face consultation, modeling interventions, reviewing data, and troubleshooting challenges. Completing timely assessments, reports, consultation notes, service logs, and other required documentation. Leading behavior support meetings, in‑services, professional development workshops, and trainings. Providing supervision to BCaBAs, RBTs, and candidates pursuing BCBA certification in accordance with BACB requirements and NHIA's supervision program. Supporting the development of continuing education content that meets BACB ACE requirements. Representing the Clinical Team and New Horizons in Autism at designated professional and agency events. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field. Current BCBA certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) . Completion of the BACB's 8-hour supervision course and eligibility to provide supervision in accordance with current BACB requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Current CPR/First Aid certification and ability to maintain certification. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as needed. Valid New Jersey driver's license and insurance in good standing. Ability to successfully complete required criminal history, central registry, and Department of Education background checks. Ability to effectively manage and support behavioral staff. Exceptional organization, time management, follow-through, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Commitment to maintaining a positive, collaborative, and professional attitude. Experience At least 1 year of ABA experience . Experience with adults with autism and related developmental disabilities is highly preferred. Experience in residential, day program, and/or community settings is preferred. School consultation experience is preferred. Experience supervising RBTs and BCBA candidates is highly preferred. Experience assessing and treating severe challenging behavior is highly preferred. Experience conducting Functional Analyses is highly preferred. Experience developing professional development content is highly preferred. Knowledge of applicable Division Circulars, Supports Program Policies and Procedures, and Community Care Policies and Procedures is preferred.
