Key Qualifications:

• Active Substitute Certificate (SUB cert) on DESE
• Prior experience working in schools, particularly with behavior support or 1:1 student assistance
• Reliable transportation required to ensure dependable attendance at assigned schools
• Willingness to undergo fingerprinting (candidate responsible for fee)
• Flexibility—may be assigned or re-assigned to support different students, classrooms, or schools as needed

Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom and 1:1 support to students, assisting with academic tasks and behavioral management
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver individualized support
• Engage students positively and constructively to promote their educational, social, and emotional development
• Adapt to changing assignments or caseloads throughout the school year as directed
• Maintain professionalism and uphold the standards and expectations of the assigned school environment

• Multiple openings: Two full-year assignments (ending late May) and one leave coverage through the end of October
