This position is primarily remote, allowing flexibility in your work schedule while working from the comfort of your own space. However, you will also have opportunities to engage directly with clients during in-person sessions at our Detox Center when necessary. You will utilize modern telehealth platforms that ensure secure and confidential communications with clients, setting the foundation for effective remote counseling. Key Responsibilities\n

Your key responsibilities will encompass a range of meaningful tasks aimed at fostering positive client outcomes:

• Actively advocate for clients by assisting them in navigating local community resources, social services, and support systems designed to enhance their quality of life.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, employing evidence-based techniques to stabilize clients experiencing acute emotional distress.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, documenting progress notes and treatment plans that meet both legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care plans that address clients' comprehensive needs.

• Conduct educational sessions for clients focused on developing coping mechanisms, effective communication, and self-care strategies to promote empowerment and independence in managing mental health.

• Participate in community outreach endeavors that facilitate networking and enhance referrals to our services, reinforcing our connection to the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with clients who are facing a range of mental health challenges, including substance use disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, and other psychosocial issues. Your therapeutic aims will include restoring their autonomy and promoting sustainable recovery strategies that adhere to best practices. Your role is paramount in fostering a supportive environment where clients feel heard, respected, and motivated to engage in their healing journeys.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Possession of a valid License as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
