Entry Level - Insurance Sales & Customer Service Representative

Location: Riverside, CA — In-Person
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM — No Weekends
Base Pay: $20.00/hour + Uncapped Commission + Performance Bonuses

Our State Farm agency in Riverside is looking for a dependable, motivated professional to join our team in a combined sales and customer service role.

Previous insurance experience is not required. We're more interested in finding someone who communicates well, follows through on commitments, learns quickly, enjoys helping customers, and is comfortable working toward sales goals.

You'll receive training on our products, systems and processes, along with warm leads and opportunities to build relationships with both new and existing customers.

What You'll Do

This position combines insurance sales with customer relationship management. Your responsibilities will include:

• Following up with warm leads and prospective customers
• Preparing Auto, Home, Life and other insurance quotes
• Identifying customers' insurance needs and recommending appropriate coverage
• Cross-selling additional products to existing customers
• Following up consistently with prospects and customers
• Assisting existing customers with policy changes, billing questions and general service needs
• Building long-term relationships with customers
• Maintaining accurate customer information and documenting follow-ups
• Working toward individual and team sales goals

This is not a cold-calling-only position. We provide warm leads and opportunities to work with our existing customer base.

Experience in customer service, sales, banking, retail, hospitality, leasing, call centers, automotive, medical offices or other customer-facing environments can translate well into this position.

Important Licensing Requirement

A California Property & Casualty insurance license is not required at the time you apply.

However, if you are not currently licensed, you will be required to obtain your California Property & Casualty insurance license within your first 60 days of employment.

Licensing coursework, examination fees and other licensing-related expenses are the employee's responsibility.

This requirement involves independent study and preparation outside of your regular job training. Candidates should apply only if they are prepared to make the time and financial commitment necessary to obtain their license within the required timeframe.
