Senior Plumbing EngineerBR+A Consulting Engineers is seeking an experienced Senior Plumbing Engineer to join our talented team at our headquarters in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have 10-20 years of experience, an engineering degree, be a registered Professional Engineer, and possess the following abilities:Experience designing of Plumbing systems for Healthcare and Higher Education projectsProficient in Auto CAD and RevitExperience in specification writingPerforms field verification and take-offs of existing systems for renovation projectsCoordinates with other disciplinesDevelops calculations for Plumbing/FP systemsThorough knowledge of Massachusetts plumbing code, model codes and NFPAStrongly motivated, well organized, shows professional initiativeTakes ownership of assignments, works both independently and as part of the project teamCapable of meeting and working with clients and ownersPossesses excellent communication skills both verbal and writtenGood understanding of engineering concepts, design, and spatial requirementsProfessional attitude and appearancePositive attitude, results-driven and team-orientedAble to think three-dimensionallyAble to manage time to meet deadlinesPosition requirements:Bachelor's degree in EngineeringPE License10-20 years of related experienceBR+A is a place to learn, to grow, to work hard for clients that matter – and to be part of something bigger.
