An opportunity exists for a Staff Pharmacist to support a psychiatric hospital setting in Pittsburgh, PA for the month of October, with the possibility of extension. This contract assignment offers a focused weekday schedule that provides a reliable work-life balance.

Location:

• Pittsburgh, PA

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Duration:

• October 1 to October 31 (with potential for extension)
• Contract role (not temp-to-perm)

Responsibilities:

• Oversee inpatient pharmacy operations within the psychiatric hospital
• Efficiently process medication order entry and verification ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Manage and operate automated dispensing machines to facilitate medication distribution
• Collaborate closely with hospital administrators, physicians, and nursing staff to optimize patient care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and safety protocols

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred, especially inpatient settings
