Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Certified School Nurse (CSN) license.
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) certification.
• Prior experience as a nurse in school settings preferred.
• Comfortable working with grades 6-8 and preschool-aged children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care, including screenings, first aid, and managing chronic conditions.
• Develop care plans in collaboration with educators, students, and families.
• Maintain health records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Promote a healthy school environment and deliver health education to students and staff.
• Serve as a healthcare liaison between home, school, and local providers.
