Role Overview : As a Patient Access Rep, you play a vital role in ensuring a seamless patient experience by accurately scheduling prescribed procedures and managing registration duties. You'll communicate with patients, participants, and staff to coordinate schedules efficiently, resolve procedural issues, and provide essential pre-service counseling. Your work directly supports patient care and operational efficiency, making a meaningful impact on our healthcare delivery.

What You Will Do :

• Gather and enter patient demographic, insurance, and clinical information into the appropriate database.
• Schedule patient procedures to optimize time and clinical resources.
• Coordinate and communicate patient schedules with relevant parties.
• Assist with insurance pre-certification and authorization activities.
• Provide pre-service counseling to patients or their representatives regarding requirements and instructions.

What You Will Need : Required

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency.
• 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
• *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Preferred

Qualifications

• Medical terminology, medical office, or acute hospital desk clerk experience.
• Computer, telephone, and customer service skills.

Additional Information

Work Schedule:
This position works 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week. Team members participate in an every-third-weekend rotation and are expected to work holidays as scheduled based on unit needs and staffing requirements.
