The Guidance Center in Southgate is seeking a qualified Adult Mental Health Supervisor with LMSW, LPC, or LLP licensure to lead their adult outpatient mental health program in Taylor, MI. This permanent role offers a competitive hourly wage based on experience and license, comprehensive benefits, and an opportunity to impact the community by providing exceptional behavioral health services.

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM–7:00 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• 37.5 hours/week
• Flexible scheduling available
• Some evenings/weekends may be required
• After-hours crisis-call coverage may be required

 

Responsibilities

• Supervise clinical and administrative operations of the adult outpatient mental health program
• Support therapists and program staff in delivering effective mental health and substance use services
• Provide or oversee individual, family, and group therapy sessions
• Respond to crisis situations and provide after-hours support as needed
• Coordinate care with clients, families, community resources, and multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor program data, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain quality standards
• Promote culturally competent and client-centered behavioral health care

 

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling
• Full, active Michigan license as LMSW, LPC, or LLP
• Minimum 3 years’ experience treating adults with mental health and substance use disorders
• Competence in providing individual, family, and group therapy
• Ability to effectively handle crisis situations
• Strong communication, organizational, documentation, and teamwork skills
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; no student/work visa or sponsorship candidates

 

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive pay range of $35.60–$48.17/hour based on license and experience
