Job Summary: Provide compassionate, patient- and family-centered nursing care in a dynamic environment that champions best practices and exceptional customer service. Acute care settings include medical, surgical, emergency, intensive care, pediatric, childbirth, perioperative, and specialty units.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage time and resources, prioritizing critical tasks while balancing short- and long-term objectives.
• Apply current clinical knowledge and technical skills to deliver high-quality patient care and make appropriate patient assignments based on acuity and expertise.
• Engage in ongoing education to incorporate evidence-based practices and promote cost-effective care.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, fostering respectful and collaborative relationships with patients, families, healthcare providers, and colleagues.
• Maintain a therapeutic and safe environment by adhering to safety protocols, privacy standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Education and Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent with at least five years of acute care experience if from a non-accredited program.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required within five years of hire; enrollment in advanced degree programs is encouraged.
• Completion and maintenance of area-specific certifications such as ACLS, BLS, PALS, or specialty credentials as applicable.

Licensure and Certifications:

• Current active Registered Nurse license valid in the regional jurisdiction.
