We're the Revenue & Marketing Recruiting team, a collaborative, globally distributed team covering the US, EMEA, and APAC. We own the full GTM talent pipeline: BDRs, sellers, revenue operations, marketing, and everything in between. We're builders at heart. The Role

As a recruiter at Pendo, you will own full-cycle recruiting across a defined set of roles and teams. You'll partner closely with hiring managers and business leaders to source, assess, and close top talent, operating with a high degree of autonomy and shaping how we hire at scale. You are a leading performer who manages independently, anticipates roadblocks, and drives quality hiring outcomes across complex, multi-stakeholder searches. Like every role at Pendo right now, this one calls for a builder mindset; someone who acts with urgency, takes ownership without being asked, and lifts the people around them. You will also have a working comfort with AI: not expertise, but genuine curiosity and active experimentation with tools that make you faster and sharper.

Role Responsibilities

Needs Assessment & Partnership

• Collaborate with Pendo stakeholders to understand requirements for assigned positions and define the key qualifications, skills, and success criteria for each role
• Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and interview teams, guiding decisions, shaping criteria, and maintaining relationships that are nearly autonomous

Sourcing & Pipeline

• Utilize job boards, social media, industry networks, and targeted outreach to source high-quality candidates
• Drive your own forecast and make data-informed decisions about pipeline health and hiring pace

Screening & Assessment

• Conduct initial screens to assess candidate fit across skills, values, and role-specific criteria
• Present a shortlist of qualified candidates with detailed profiles; collect and consolidate feedback from hiring teams

Interview Process & Offer

• Coordinate and schedule interviews; support the development of interview questions and evaluation rubrics
• Lead offer negotiation with selected candidates and collaborate with HR/People Ops to ensure a smooth onboarding transition

Minimum Qualifications

• Full-cycle recruiting experience in a high-growth SaaS environment
• Experience recruiting SaaS sellers
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder searches across multiple requisitions simultaneously
• Strong sourcing skills, you don't wait for inbound; you build a pipeline proactively
• Clear, confident communicator who builds trust quickly with hiring managers, candidates, and cross-functional partners
• Comfort working with data to assess funnel health, report on progress, and make informed decisions
• Builder mindset: you act with urgency, take ownership of your work end-to-end, and look for ways to make your team better
• Working AI fluency: you actively use AI tools in your day-to-day and bring genuine curiosity about how they can make you more effective
• Will not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience partnering with VP-level+ stakeholders with a high degree of autonomy
• Familiarity with recruiting for the roles you'll be assigned (e.g., software engineers, AEs, CSMs)
• Prior experience in a high-volume, fast-paced recruiting environment
• Experience with Greenhouse or a comparable ATS
• Comfortable using AI tools throughout a recruiting workflow, whether that's intake and market research, sourcing, candidate outreach, or offer prep; curiosity and experimentation matter more than expertise

Compensation

Posting is for REMOTE roles

Compensation is structured as a 1099 hourly rate, to be discussed during the interview stage.

Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and above the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skill set, and balancing internal equity with peers at the company.
