About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Facilities and Building Services to serve as a key strategic leader in the management of its extensive facilities enterprise. The successful candidate will be responsible for the vision, direction, and performance of the facilities division, ensuring the provision of safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing environments that support the academic mission and long-term strategic priorities. This role involves overseeing all aspects of facilities operations, including capital planning and construction, plant operations, maintenance, custodial services, and campus safety infrastructure. The Vice President will be expected to align facilities strategies with the institution's goals, guide a large, complex organization, and optimize resources to enhance the campus experience for all stakeholders. Candidates for the Vice President position should have a proven track record of executive leadership in facilities management, ideally within a large, mission-driven organization. The role requires a leader with strategic vision, operational excellence, and financial acumen, who can effectively manage significant capital projects and lead large teams. A collaborative and transparent leadership style, strong communication skills, and the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups are essential. The ideal candidate will be proactive, solutions-oriented, and committed to service, innovation, and continuous improvement. Experience in infrastructure planning, energy management, and the integration of innovative technologies to enhance efficiency and performance is also highly valued.
