Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to analyze the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to create customized treatment plans that align with their specific needs and values.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate positive change.

• Educate and support clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to enhance their understanding and resilience.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and ensure effective communication with clients about their ongoing care.

• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists and other health professionals to integrate services and improve patient outcomes.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mental health treatment to refine therapeutic strategies and interventions.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will primarily work with clients experiencing mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. Our clients also include vulnerable populations, such as individuals facing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
