Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students with diverse learning needs in a dynamic middle school environment. Two full-time contract positions are available—both offering hands-on classroom experience and the chance to make a real difference. Assignments are located at Northglenn or Rocky Top Middle School and are ideal for passionate special educators ready to serve students from mild-moderate to significant needs.

Available Openings:

• Learning Services Teacher at Northglenn Middle School: Begins 9/23 and runs 7 weeks, focusing on a mild-moderate caseload.
• SSN Teacher and Learning Specialist (.5 FTE each at Rocky Top Middle School): Serve students with significant cognitive and/or communicative disabilities. Consideration given to candidates available part-time for SSN only; coverage needed ASAP through Winter Break.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Department of Education Teacher License with Special Education Generalist (Ages 5-21) Endorsement
• Previous experience with middle school special education populations, including Learning Services or SSN roles
• Strong classroom management and differentiated instruction skills
• Excellent communication and collaborative abilities
• Ability to work onsite and effectively adapt to new classroom settings
• Willingness to work at one or two schools depending on assignment needs
• Completion of RefAssured references process prior to consideration

Essential Duties:

• Deliver individualized instruction aligned to student IEPs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Use research-based interventions to support a range of learners
• Monitor progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reporting
