Accounts Payable Specialist

LHH is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company, to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist who is eager to learn, take ownership, and contribute to a collaborative finance team that supports production, supply chain, and business operations.

What you'll be doing:

• Review and accurately process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documentation
• Process employee expense reports and reimbursements
• Identify invoice discrepancies and work with purchasing, receiving, and vendors to resolve issues
• Ensure compliance with company policies, approval workflows, and internal controls
• Maintain vendor records, W-9 documentation, and support 1099 reporting activities
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment status, account reconciliations, and invoice inquiries
• Prepare and process check, ACH, and wire payments during scheduled AP cycles
• Assist with month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and audit requests

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 3+ years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience , ideally within a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment
• Experience working with high-volume invoice processing and vendor management
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) preferred
• Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment supporting multiple departments

• $35-$40 an hour based on experience
