This role is responsible for processing a high volume of vendor invoices, managing weekly check runs, reconciling vendor accounts, and ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment and is committed to maintaining accuracy and accountability in all aspects of the AP process.Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately process a high volume of invoices—approximately 1,000 to 1,200 per monthProcess weekly check runs, employee expense reports, and check requestsRecord and track preliminary notices received from subcontractors and lower-tier suppliersReview vendor statements and reconcile outstanding or past-due accountsProcess and file annual 1099s in accordance with IRS requirementsSupport various accounting projects and initiatives as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMinimum 2 years of accounts payable experience requiredExperience in the construction industry is a plusExperience with Viewpoint Vista preferred but not requiredStrong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindsetAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentProficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Strong organizational skills, professional demeanor, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindsetCompensation & BenefitsIn accordance with California's pay transparency requirements, the base salary range for this position is $61,200 – $72,675 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
