This position is entirely remote, offering you the flexibility to manage your work from a comfortable setting while still being an integral part of our team. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours expected based on client needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individual and group psychotherapy sessions focused on clients experiencing major mental illnesses or severe emotional disorders.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client needs, risk factors, and potential treatment pathways.

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and addiction specialists, to create cohesive treatment plans that promote holistic health.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and treatment notes using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Facilitate crisis intervention as necessary, employing de-escalation techniques to ensure client safety at all times.

• Engage with clients and their families to educate them on treatment options and empower them through the recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals undergoing detoxification and recovery from substance use disorders, along with those experiencing co-occurring mental health disorders. Understanding the unique challenges faced by this demographic is essential, as you will provide compassionate support during a critical and often vulnerable time in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation in California.
